Hamburg May 30th and June 12th

Before and during the Hamburg International Short Film Festival

Dream destination for many, workspace for some and habitat for only a few – the port of Hamburg is associated with all kind of images. It is depicted as a romantic maritime dream world, as a logistic turnstile, a gastronomic hot spot and as a refuge for the ill-fated. The artist group A Wall is a Screen examines these different images by exploring the area around the fish market and waterfront at Große Elbstraße. With mobile screening equipment and together with the audience, we will light up the dark sides of the harbour. Just come along and follow the projection team around warehouses, gourmet restaurants, bars and luxury real estate, and witness an extraordinary symbiosis between film and architecture.

Friday June 12th | 22.30 h
