A Wall is a Screen: Hamburg and Uppsala

A Wall is a Screen - A Roof Over Your Head - urban development, homelessness and housing / Uppsala Short Film Festival in Sweden

On October 22nd we will be on the road again in Hamburg, under the title "A Wall is a Screen - Ein Dach überm Kopf" (A Wall is a Screen - A Roof Over Your Head) we will go to places that in many cases exist rather rarely in the light of publicity. Between Berliner Tor, Münzviertel and the City there are some of these places that are very important as places to go and stay for many homeless people. We will show films that deal with the topic of urban development, homelessness and housing shortage. The event takes place in cooperation with initiatives that work with homeless people and is presented together with the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe.

A Wall is a Screen: Hamburg - A Roof Over Your Head
Saturday, October 22
Start: 7:00 p.m., Agentur für Arbeit, Kurt-Schumacher-Allee 16, 20097 Hamburg, Germany

Afterwards, the Center for the Future and "the state-approved trouble spot" - the VolxKüche of Hafenstrasse invites you to warm up, eat, drink and exchange ideas at KIOSK werkhaus 2.0 (in the former Karstadt-Sport in Mönckebergstraße).

One weekend later we are again guests of our friends from the
Uppsala Short Film Festival in Sweden. There we will present two tours. On Friday, October 28th there will be a regular A Wall is a Screen tour starting at 7:00 pm and on October 29th there will be a family program starting at 5:30 pm through the streets of Uppsala.
